Fiji TV Visits Mitchell’s Lab at Scripps

negation

On March 24th, 2011, Fiji TV visited Scripps Institution of Oceanography in California, USA, where Geoffrey Smith interviewed Dr. Greg Mitchell, the founder and director of Pacific Blue Foundation. When asked what research was being done to address issues related to climate change, Dr. Mitchell discussed an on-going algae-biofuel project his lab has been involved in. Dr. Mitchell’s research is designed to create a carbon-neutral energy source, with carbon uptake a necessary process for the growth of algae.

Below, Dr. Mitchell invites Geoffrey Smith to take a glimpse at the algae-biofuel project he has been heading up.
